Talk to any marriage counselor, or for anyone who is
married for that matter, and they will tell you that
communication is the key to a healthy relationship.
So it should be no surprise that prayer as our form of
communication with God is the key to our relationship
with Him.
Nevertheless, many Christians take prayer for granted and
have never taken the time to study it or even understand it all
that well. Prayer is such an important spiritual
discipline however that Jesus gave us a model of how we should
pray in the Lord's Prayer.
This study is partly based on the book "With Christ in the
School of Prayer" by Andrew Murray. There are numerous
quotes throughout the study from the book.
This study is set up with questions for an individual or
group to answer and can work well as a small group Bible study. |
